About the University
Korea International University in Fergana (KIUF) is a non-state higher education institution established by Resolution No. 714 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 23 August 2019. The founder of the University is Park Joon Ho . KIUF is the only higher education institution in the Fergana Valley that teaches according to the Korean education system. Education follows a 4-year standard in 11 programmes across engineering and humanities faculties. 3+1 and 2+2 — dual degree Students study for 2 or 3 years in Uzbekistan, complete their 3rd or 4th year at a partner university in Korea and receive a dual degree. Since August 2022, 4th-year students have studied at Sunmoon University; in 2023 at Sunmoon and Halla; and in 2024 at Sunmoon, Kwangwoon and Sungshin Women's University.
